John and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend. On Saturday we spent the day at the Osgood Community Center introducing people to the great products Watkins has. Most of the people were familiar with the Watkins name but hadn’t seen the product for years.
I know it’s hard to believe but we’ve been selling Watkins for over 12 years and yet we’ve never done any shows or fairs. Since we moved to this area a few months ago and know almost no one, we thought this would be a great way to get our name out. It was very productive day.
The only bad thing about the day was that we were going to miss my sons family who were coming up to visit my parents. They had to leave for home about the time the show was over. A few hours before they were due to leave he called and said they were going to stay a couple hours longer.
As soon as the show was over we drove the hour over to mom and dads and got to visit with them and the grandchildren, including my 6 week old grandson Joseph. What a great way to end a day.
