I’m amazed. Really I am. I never would have thought to make sloppy joes in a slow cooker. In fact, I’m almost embarrassed to say that I’ve never made them from scratch. I’m not sure why, I guess I just fell for the convenience of the can or envelope.
That’s all changed now that I’ve had these. You’re going to love them.

Directions:
- Brown the beef and sausage with onion and bell pepper in a large dutch oven over medium-High heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until the beef and sausage crumble and are no longer pink.
- Drain well.
- Place the meat in a slow-cooker. Mix the other ingredients well and stir into the meat.
- Cover and cook on high 4 hours.
- Serve on toasted hamburger buns.
