Overnight Caramel French Toast

Ingredients:

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter

12 slices white bread

2 tablespoon light corn syrup

1/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 teaspoon Watkins Cinnamon, divided

1 teaspoon Watkins Vanilla

Directions:

Grease a 13 x 9x 2 inch dish.

Bring butter, brown sugar and corn syrup to a boil. Pour into greased baking dish.
Cube bread and spread 1/2 of cubes on top of butter, brown sugar and corn syrup mixture in baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mix (3/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar.)

Spread remaining bread cubes.

Mix eggs, milk, salt and vanilla and pour over bread cubes. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon on top.  At this point you put the casserole in the refrigerator to be baked in the morning.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and invert on a large plate.
