Homemade Meatballs

As promised, here is the recipe for homemade meatballs that I use. It is very quick and simple.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound ground beef or turkey sausage
  • 1 egg yolk + 1/2 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs or 1/4 cup cracker crumbs or 1/4 cup crushed corn flakes
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Watkins garlic powder
  • 1/4 medium onion, chopped
  •  pepper and salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine meat, bread crumbs, cheese, garlic powder, onion, salt and pepper.
  3. Form mini meatballs (48 to 50).
  4. Place on a broiler pan and bake about 12 – 15 minutes.
