As promised, here is the recipe for homemade meatballs that I use. It is very quick and simple.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound ground beef or turkey sausage
- 1 egg yolk + 1/2 tablespoon water
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs or 1/4 cup cracker crumbs or 1/4 cup crushed corn flakes
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Watkins garlic powder
- 1/4 medium onion, chopped
- pepper and salt to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Combine meat, bread crumbs, cheese, garlic powder, onion, salt and pepper.
- Form mini meatballs (48 to 50).
- Place on a broiler pan and bake about 12 – 15 minutes.
