- 2 cups noodles
- 1 T Watkins chicken soup base
DIRECTIONS
- Fill a stock pot with water and put the chicken leg quarters in and bring to a boil
- llower heat and simmer for 1 hour. Remove chicken legs quarters and let cool.
- Once cooled, debone chicken and put the bones back into the stockpot with the vegetables and seasonings.
- Simmer for 3 hours.
- Pour the mixture into a strainer and pour liquid back into stockpot.
- Add fresh vegetables and seasonings with the barley, soup base and uncooked noodles.
- Simmer for 45 minutes to an hour and then add your chopped chicken.
- Taste to see if more seasonings are needed.
